Getting married in
Cap Cana.
Cap Cana is Punta Cana's gated, higher-end neighbor. A private enclave of golf, a marina, and Juanillo — a public beach that's one of the most photogenic in the country. Fewer mega-resorts, more villas and boutique venues (Eden Roc, Sanctuary). It's where a Punta Cana wedding goes when the budget is bigger and the guest list is tighter.
Who Cap Cana is for
If you want Punta Cana's access without the mega-resort scale. If a private villa or a boutique hotel says more to you than a 500-room property. If the budget is there and you want it to show in the details. This is for you.
Getting there
PUJ is 15–20 minutes away. The same easy international access as Punta Cana, then through the Cap Cana gate into a quieter, manicured world. Short transfers between the marina, the golf, and the beach.
The best time of year
December to April is the dry window. June to November is wetter and runs into hurricane season; the villas and boutique venues have covered options, but they're worth booking early.
