Optional service · with Ana

What if someone
organized it for you?

The directory hands you the good vendors and you contact them yourself — free, as always. But if you’re planning from abroad, or simply would rather not carry it all, Ana coordinates your wedding on the peninsula from start to finish. That part is a paid service.

Let’s be clear from the first line, because it’s what we do across the whole site: using miboda costs nothing. Searching, comparing, requesting information and booking vendors is free and always will be. This page is the one thing we charge for — and it’s entirely optional.

Some couples enjoy planning and just need the right contacts. The directory is for them. And some couples live in Boston, are marrying in Cosón, and have neither the time nor the local network to coordinate twenty vendors in another language and another time zone. Ana is for them.

Level 01

Day-of coordination

You plan it; Ana takes the wheel for the final week and the wedding day.

For couples who enjoyed planning and just want to be present on the day, not running it.

  • Hand-off meeting 3–4 weeks out
  • Confirmation and timeline with every vendor you already booked
  • On-site coordination on the day — you solve nothing
  • Rain plan B triggered without you noticing
Level 02

Partial coordination

You start; Ana steps in midway with whatever gets complicated.

For couples with a clear idea but not the time — or the local network — to pull it off.

  • Recommendations and a short-list of vetted vendors
  • Support through quotes and contracts
  • Design of the timeline and the weekend's logistics
  • Everything in the day-of package included
Level 03

Full coordination

Tell us the wedding you want and Ana builds it from start to finish.

For couples planning from abroad who want to arrive and get married.

  • Venue and vendor search to fit your budget and idea
  • Negotiation, contracts and coordinated payments
  • Design, décor and production of the whole weekend
  • Guest logistics, transport and legal paperwork

How we charge — no fine print

Ana charges a fee for coordinating. That’s it. We don’t mark up vendors’ quotes, we don’t take a hidden commission for sending you to one or another, and it doesn’t cost more to book a vendor "through" coordination than on your own. If a recommendation ever means we earn something, we tell you.

The price depends on your wedding — the level you choose, how many guests, and how much has to be built from scratch. Like any serious vendor on the peninsula, it’s quoted case by case. Tell us what you have in mind and we send a clear proposal before you commit to anything.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to hire coordination to use miboda?

No. The directory is and will stay free: you search, compare, request information and book vendors directly, at no cost and no commission. Coordination with Ana is a separate, optional service for couples who'd rather not do it alone. If you want to organize your wedding yourself, the directory gives you everything you need.

How much does coordination cost?

It depends on the level (day-of, partial or full), the guest count, and how remotely it's planned. There's no catalogue price — like any serious vendor on the peninsula, it's quoted to your wedding. Tell us what you have in mind and Ana sends a clear proposal before you commit to anything.

How is it different from the free directory?

The directory connects you with vendors and you run the show. Coordination is Ana running it for you — from choosing the venue to the last guest leaving. Having the good contacts is one thing; having someone on the peninsula organizing it all while you live your engagement is another.

Does Ana only work with directory vendors?

She starts there because they're the ones we've already vetted, but she isn't limited to them. If your wedding needs something that isn't in the directory, Ana finds it. What we don't do: mark up quotes or charge you a hidden premium for using one vendor over another. Her fee is for coordinating — not a disguised commission.

Do you handle the legal side too?

Yes, in the partial and full packages. Ana guides you on civil, symbolic or religious ceremonies, the documents and timelines in the DR, and coordinates the registrar if you marry legally on the peninsula. The requirements are explained in the Journal; Ana makes sure they're met on time.

Who is Ana?

Ana is a partner and operations director at miboda, with more than 20 years in events, food and hospitality on the peninsula. She's the one who receives every directory request and knows the vendors we recommend first-hand. Coordinating weddings is the natural extension of what she already does every day.
