Terms of use

This document sets out the conditions under which you may use the miboda.do site. By browsing the site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

1. What miboda is

miboda.do is a curated directory of wedding vendors on the Samaná peninsula, Dominican Republic. We publish profiles of vendors vetted by hand by our team, and we make it easy for couples to send information requests to those vendors.

miboda is not a payment intermediary. We charge no commissions, we process no transactions, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a vendor.

2. Information published in the directory

Each vendor's information (description, photos, price range, capacity) is published on a best-effort basis, but it may change without notice. Before making any booking decision, confirm prices, availability and conditions directly with the vendor.

Gallery images are owned by each vendor and are published with their permission. Reproducing them requires authorization from the original author.

3. Information requests

When you submit the "Request information" form:

  • Your data is handled according to our Privacy policy (Law 172-13).
  • We forward your request to the vendor or vendors indicated so they can contact you directly.
  • miboda does not guarantee response times, availability or the prices offered by the vendor. The contract, payments and commercial terms are strictly between you and the vendor.

4. Limitation of liability

miboda makes its best effort to curate the directory, but the site is provided "as is". We are not responsible for:

  • Disputes, breaches or damages arising from the commercial relationship between you and a vendor.
  • Typographical errors, outdated data, or price changes that were not notified.
  • Technical interruptions of the site, data loss, or inability to access the service.

In any event, our maximum liability to you for any claim related to the site is limited to zero Dominican pesos (RD$0), given that the service is offered free of charge to couples.

5. Acceptable use of the site

By using miboda.do, you agree not to:

  • Submit false requests, spam, or third-party information without their consent.
  • Attempt to access non-public parts of the site (admin panel, databases, etc.).
  • Reproduce, copy or redistribute the site's content (editorial text, photos, structure) without authorization.
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract data from the directory.

6. Intellectual property

The editorial content of the site (Journal articles, page copy, visual design, the miboda brand) is the property of miboda.do. Directory photos are the property of each vendor.

Brief quotes with attribution and links back to the site are welcome. For broader uses, write to us at hola@miboda.do.

7. Links to external sites

Some vendor profiles link to third-party websites, social media, or WhatsApp. miboda does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or policies.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Any substantial change will be visible on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute related to the use of the site will be resolved before the competent courts of the province of Samaná or of the National District, at miboda's election.
